New Zealand offers geothermal cooperation

New Zealand Ambassador to Indonesia David Taylor has offered geothermal development partnerships with Indonesian companies in West Java. Taylor said his country was not like China, which has invested millions of dollars in Indonesia.

“We can improve the skills. Without skills, companies cannot increase productivity,” he said in Bandung yesterday.

West Java Deputy Governor Dede Yusuf said the MoU would be signed soon. West Java has invited New Zealand’s ambassadors and businessmen to attend the West Java International Expo this coming October. According to Dede, New Zealand has experience in geothermal activities.
