Reporting with GRI standards 2021
GRI has revised the Universal Standards with significant changes. Reports published after December 31, 2022, must use the new standards. The new Universal Standards 2021 includes the following key features:
- New guidance to determine material topics
- Revised in-accordance criteria
- Updated reporting principles
- New disclosures
- Revisions to existing disclosures
- Incorporation of sector standards, and much more.
In line with the changes, the Course now includes a new module: “Reporting on Human Rights with GRI Standards 2021.”

GRI certificate
Upon successful completion of the training course, participants receive a certificate directly from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The course also counts toward the GRI Certified Sustainability Professional eligibility.
