Sony Ericsson today unveiled yet another addition to their GreenHeart range of mobile phones.

The fourth of its range, following Elm, Hazel, and the soon to be made available Aspen, the Sony Ericsson Cedar will be launched in the third quarter of the year, and as part of its GreenHeart commitment, strives to cause less impact to the environment.

With sustainable features such as an outer casing made from recycled plastics, compact packaging, waterbourne paint, reduced use of chemicals, an energy-efficient display and a charger that is designed to consume less power on standby mode, the GreenHeart range also cuts paper consumption through the provision of an e-manual.

Looking to marry form, function, and sustainability, the Sony Ericsson Cedar has an ergonomic shape, and carries key features such as Widget Manager 2.0, which provides easy access to popular social networking applications, and 3GHSDPA, which ensures fast connection to email and other internet applications.
