Despite the recent softening of energy cost, manufacturing energy efficiency is continually receiving attention because it is not able to save energy, reduces carbon footprint, but also helps to enhance productivity. At the company level, more and more energy champions are taking the initiative to drive energy efficiency and green policy for broader objectives. Increasingly, they are looking upon more holistic solutions for energy efficiency and operations productivity as a whole.
Recently, global industry community has been abuzz with the term Energy Productivity, which is the amount of economic output possible at a given level of energy supply. Using energy data analytics to enhance manufacturing productivity is a new direction in energy management industry. While most ESCOs are adept at dealing with industrial facilities, in the past years, SIMTech has succeeded in developing and implementing energy management systems that help to increase shop floors productivity, at the same time saving energy. SIMTech is now ready to transfer the knowledge gained in this respect to the industry.
