Panel discussion: How to turn the numbers around for female agripreneurs

There is no better time to be an ‘agripreneur’ (an agriculture entrepreneur). Foodtech and agtech start-ups raised US$19.8bn globally in 2019, up from US$2.1m in 2017 - but only 3 per cent of this funding was directed towards women agripreneurs.

This August, WOMAG and LEVEL3 are partnering to host a series of virtual events to increase awareness about challenges and opportunities for women agripreneurs: “Where are the Women: Exploring Agripreneurship in Southeast Asia”.

On 27 August, gain insights from our panel of experts as they share experiences of female agripreneurs. You’ll hear from Virginia Cha (INSEAD), John Friedman (AgFunder), Yvone Foong (Chektec) and Vandana Dhaul (GROW Accelerator). Understand the tactics of leveraging on what’s available and maximising what you have. Following the panel discussion, network with other attendees through facilitated breakout sessions.

Mark your calendars for other events in this series of virtual events in August to listen, engage, discuss and connect with startup ecosystem players. Register now for all our events this month.
