The Lloyd’s Register Foundation Institute for the Public Understanding of Risk (LRFI) is pleased to announce its inaugural conference on risk on 27 July 2017. The conference will bring together global experts, policymakers, industry players and enthusiasts to share ideas and knowledge in risk research and communication.
Conference participants will be the first in the world to receive a copy of the new Lloyd’s Register Foundation Foresight Report on the Public Understanding of Risk produced in collaboration with NUS. The report describes how public perceptions of everyday risks impact decisions and identifies opportunities for better communication of risk in society. The report is written in clear language for everybody to understand, and will set the direction for the new Institute on the Public Understanding of Risk.
