Sustinere has partnered with Carbon Action to present a 4-day course taking place from 24-27 March 2020 which covers both the GHG emissions reporting aspects and verification of the GHG emission report in order to satisfy a variety of stakeholders who demand access to this information, including shareholders, regulators, commercial partners, investors, financial institutions, and consumers.
The 1 day ISO 14064-1 course details the requirements of ISO 14064-1 and how these relate to existing GHG schemes and other key protocols and standards. This would be particularly useful for participants who need a foundation course in carbon emissions measurement.
The 2 day ISO 14064-3 course is useful for participants who would like to understand how GHG verification is carried out or for those who are interested to be third party GHG verifiers. This course also includes an ISO 14064 Part 3 examination component.
Due to an increasing interest in carbon reduction methodology for projects, ISO 14064-2 will also be covered in this coming training in March. This 1 day course will cover projects that both reduce emissions (e.g. alternative energy systems) and enhance emission removals (e.g. forestry projects), including principles and requirements for determining project baselines, monitoring, quantifying and reporting project performance.
