It is predicted that global HEV market share will increase from the current 3.7% to 13% by 2020 while the Chinese market will reach 740 thousand units; the growth rate of market is 18% by 2015. The State Council-approved “energy-saving and new energy automotive industry development plan (2012-2020)” will focus on promoting the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle industry and popularizing the non-plug-in hybrid vehicles. After the China Two Sessions, the hybrid vehicle is expected to be included in the scope of policy subsidies.

Merisis is organizing the 2nd HEV Technology Summit 2013, working in conjunction with China Power Supply Association, on Sep.26th -27th, Shanghai of China. As the only professional summit with a specific focus on hybrid vehicles this year, the key issues are as follows: Policy Tendency, OEM’s Planning, Core Technology, PHEV. We will invite government authorities, industry associations and representative enterprises from Japan, USA, Germany, Korea, China and other Asian and Western countries with mature HEV technologies to share their insight and experience in this field. We are dedicated to providing an unique communication platform in the HEV market and to accelerating the progress of HEV technology in China.

We firmly believe that all the participants will have a deeper and clear understanding of the current HEV technologies by attending this event, which will definitely facilitate the development of China and indeed the global HEV industry.
