New web directory connects hemp industry

The Australian Hemp Directory has been launched to provide a vitally needed online contact hub for the hemp industry.

The website aims to simplify the formation of business relationships, joint ventures and B2B sale agreements.

The site also provides a centralised point of purchase and sales of hemp products to consumers.

Many insiders have blamed a disorganised industry for a general lack of public understanding of and commercial interest in hemp products.

Until now, hemp related businesses have been forced to use closed communication channels under approval of their parent associations to network and communicate.

The director of hemp technology and processing firm Textile and Composite Industries Adrian Clarke commented that “the Hemp Directory is exactly what hemp businesses need to get themselves organised, to work together.”

“Open communication is essential for the development of this industry.”

The Australian Hemp Directory is available on the web at http://www.hempdirectory.com.au. Hemp businesses can be listed on the site for free.
