CAPER-CENER sign strategic agreement

The Society for Cooperation with the Asia-Pacific region for Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency - CAPER has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Spanish National Renewable Energy Center CENER.

The National Renewable Energy Centre (CENER) is a technology centre specialised in applied research, and the development and promotion of renewable energies. It is highly rated and has acknowledged national and international prestige.

It currently provides services and performs research work in 6 areas in the field of renewable energies:

Wind Energy

Solar Thermal Energy

Photovoltaic Solar Energy

Biomass Energy

Energy in Buildings

Renewable Energy Grid Integration

CENER has a cutting-edge technological infrastructure, with the most modern laboratories and facilities in Europe. In the case of the Wind Turbine Test Laboratory, located in Sangüesa (Navarra), it is the only infrastructure of this kind in the world.

It provides professional services to a considerable group of institutions and companies related in one way or another to the energy business, as well as South American, European and Spanish regional governments.

The agreement includes the dissemination in the Asia-Pacific countries of CENER capabilities and activities in order to create business opportunities with enterprises and cooperation agreements with research centers in those countries
