Asia Climate Week

Asia is one of the world’s most exposed regions, with rapid population growth and urbanisation, extreme weather patterns and climate change, all of which continue to have major impacts. Today’s challenges demand a new way of thinking, a new way of funding and a new way of forecasting.

The sixth InterMET Asia conference and exhibition - held in association with the World Bank GFDRR - is now the largest event for Asia, Africa and the Pacific Islands, dedicated to the use of weather information routinely and to mitigate, manage and build resilience.

In 2019 InterMET Asia will be joined by:

  • InterFLOOD Asia: the second flood management and mitigation conference and exhibition
  • InterAIR Asia: the debut event, focused on air quality monitoring, measurement and improvement.

The result is Asia Climate Week – the biggest coming together ever of expertise on weather, climate, flood and air quality-related environmental issues for the Asia, Africa and Pacific regions. The conference runs from 26-29 March and the exhibition from 27-28 March.
