Water Expo China 2014 confirms two international pavilions

More than two-thirds of exhibition space has already been sold for Water Expo China which will be held 1 – 3 December 2014 at the China National Convention Center, Beijing, China.

The show is recognised as China’s first water business exhibition and it expected to attract over 500 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions, who will showcase their products and technologies in 22,000 sqm of exhibition space.

“We are delighted to confirm the international pavilions for this year’s Water Expo China, which are supported by government agencies,” explained Mr Jason Cao, Senior General Manager for Messe Frankfurt (HK) Co Ltd. “We are also happy to welcome support from several domestic associations who are organising water industry zones, visitor delegations and conferences for the 2014 show.”

These associations include the China Desalination Association, the China Environment Chamber of Commerce, the China Water Industry Association CCES, the Hebei Environmental Science Society, the Shanghai Water Engineering Association and the Shanghai Water Reclamation Trade Association.

In addition, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai Sub-Council, Shandong Sub-Council and Ningbo Sub-Council are assisting with the promotion of exhibitors from their provinces.

The Korean pavilion is organised by the Korean government, the Korea Water and Wastewater Works Association and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency. It will be 126 sqm in size and can accommodate 14 booths.

The US Commercial Service in Beijing has issued an official invitation and letter from US President Barack Obama to American companies to join the US pavilion at Water Expo China. Exhibitors are eligible for a special booth discount together with other added-value services.

Exhibitors and show visitors have the chance to win a trip to China

Visitors to Water Expo China who register at www.waterexpochina.com before 15 August 2014 have a change to win a free trip to China, including a return economy flight to Beijing and accommodation for three nights at a four-star hotel. In addition, overseas exhibitors who apply for a 36 sqm booth or larger before 15 August 2014, will also go into a prize draw to win a free trip to China. The winners will be notified by email before 15 September 2014.

Water Expo China is approved by China’s Ministry of Commerce and organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society. More than 35,000 visitors from more than 40 countries, as well as 50 international and domestic buyer delegations are expected to attend the show.

The Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society

The Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society (CHES), founded in 1931, is an academic organisation of Chinese Hydraulic Engineering professionals, affiliated with the China Association for Science and Technology.
