The postponed annual TBLI CONFERENCE ASIA 2011 on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Impact Investment will be held in Tokyo on September 15-16, 2011. The two-day pan-Asian Conference, convened at The Four Seasons at Chinzan-so Hotel, will look at all aspects of this fastest growing form of sustainable investing.
During the Roundtable on September 15 the special role the financial sector plays in rebuilding the Japanese economy, will be discussed. Renewable energy as well the ageing society and diminishing workforce will be themes to exchange ideas on.
Socially responsible investors need the latest research and industry insights in order to release the billions of investment capital that will finance a shift to a low-carbon energy system. Climate change and the economic growth in Asia are two of the rising forces that will shape the investment industry, and the world, in the years to come.
