On Saturday, April 13th and Sunday, April 14th, 2013, the Eco Design Fair will bring together an anticipated audience of over 10,000 people from around Shanghai to the Cool Docks looking to learn about green healthy living, and seeking earth-friendly alternatives in fashion, food, energy, transportation, wellness, home, gardening, finance and more.
The Eco Fair is a community occasion, bringing together like-minded businesses organizations and leaders from across China to promote sustainable economic and community development and to offer a wide variety of fun, informative, healthy and earth-friendly experiences for all ages.
This year the Eco Design Fair Spring 2013 will focus on the theme of waste reduction. Visitors will be challenged to reduce their ecological footprint through various interactive actions and activities at the event.
China’s best innovative and sustainable vendors will be showcasing their goods and designs and interacting with visitors. The event will also include an Urban Farm Exhibit and Market, Sustainable Space Exhibit, Critical Mass Ride, Design Thinking Workshops, interactive children’s activities and, eye-catching eco-conscious fashion shows and music productions on the main stage.
Partnering with We Impact, Eco Design Fair Spring 2013 will not only be green in content but also in its entire event execution under International Standards. We Impact uses the Impact Event Lifecycle (IEL) to ensure sustainability is integrated into every part of the event management lifecycle (pre-event, during and post event). Therefore, the Eco Design Fair is not only minimising negative impacts, but also creating positive ones.
