Change of management at ebm-papst group: Rainer Hundsdörfer to succeed Hans-Jochen Beilke

After six years as Chairman of the Board of Management at the ebm-papst Group, Hans-Jochen Beilke (62) will retire as planned on 30.09.2012.

His successor from September 2012 at the world’s leading manufacturer of fans and motors will be Rainer Hundsdörfer. Hundsdörfer will be coming from the mechanical engineering company and automobile parts supplier Schaeffler AG. At Schaeffler, he has been Chairman of the Industry division and member of the Executive Board since 2008.

The 54-year-old started his career at Trumpf in Ditzingen. Rainer Hundsdörfer is already very familiar with the region. From 2003 to 2008 he was Chairman of the Board at Weinig AG, a producer of machines and systems for wood processing in the Baden-Württemberg town of Tauberbischofsheim.

The shareholders at ebm-papst are glad to have been able to gain in Rainer Hundsdörfer an internationally experienced manager who will follow Hans-Jochen Beilke in continuing to develop the Group.
