Did you know that we’re ingesting about a credit card’s worth of plastic a week on average? News about plastic creeping into untouched part of Earth, animals, salt and us, is everywhere. The plastic pollution crisis seems unfathomably large and beyond our control… so what can we really do about it?

Join Green Is The New Black Straits Clan as we screen the documentary A Plastic Wave, followed by a panel discussion to explore and discuss the plastic crisis, where we (and our planet) are at, and tangible solutions to alleviate the problem.

Screening 

A Plastic Wave:A surf photographer, business owner and father of two is seeing more and more plastic wash ashore his beloved home beach. In a bid to discover the route of this problem he embarks on a journey of discovery to educate himself and understand more about the problem. Along the way, he discovers some alarming issues.
