Regenerative farming in Southeast Asia: Webinar

Regenerative farming in Southeast Asia: Webinar

Convened by USAID Green Invest Asia and Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), this webinar provides agribusiness and finance experts a platform to reflect on common constraints as well as potential solutions for investing in and scaling regenerative agriculture (farming practices that reverse climate trends and improve the ecosystem).

The event features panel discussions to explore – and prioritise — opportunities for regenerative farm operations, and ways to develop impact-oriented investments that deliver financial returns. The event introduces IRIS+, a system for measuring, managing, and optimizing impact for regenerative agriculture by GIIN. For more information please contact rchaiyosaeng@pactworld.org, or register at the link provided. Attendance is no-cost.

Featured in the event are representatives from a UW organic coconut water company sourcing from Thailand, Harmless Harvest; the international sustainable consulting group Quantis; investors from Spruce Capital Partners and Silverstrand Capital; and an impact measurement system to support climate goals called IRIS+. Panelists will discuss models in coconut, coffee and cacao cultivation, while investors will share constraints and opportunities for investing in regenerative agriculture.
