Community Investment Forum 2014

Join us in Singapore for CSR Asia’s annual Community Investment Forum, building the community of business and NGO professionals working with communities.

Community Investment Forum 2014: Wed, 4 June

2 day workshop – Essential Skills for Effective Partnering: Thurs & Fri 5-6 June

Building on a decade of experience working with corporate and community clients on strategic Community Investment (CI) in Asia, CSR Asia will be organising our 2014 CI Forum focused on Partnerships.

A partnership combines the best of business (resources and expertise) with the capabilities of other organisations (including charitable organisations, academia, government and other businesses) to support sustainable development goals. Partnerships can also introduce new ways of working resulting in greater positive impact for both the community and the business. Successful partnerships are easier said than done.

The Partnering Initiative (TPI) report that whilst partnerships can sometimes fall short of initial hopes and expectations, there is mounting evidence that many partnership initiatives can be highly effective and sustainable when designed, developed and managed in a systematic way. This Forum will showcase different Asia-based partnership experiences and share useful insights on partnership from community investment practitioners across sectors.
