5th China International New Energy Vehicles Forum 2015

2014 is the most critical year we implementing the The government agencies and public institutions to implement programs for new energy vehicles, and is been considered as the first year of NEV industrialization era. According to the plan, by 2015 the number of China’s NEV will up to 500000.

2014 is also the year China released series of NEV policies, including Guiding opinions on accelerating the promotion and application of new energy vehicles, Notice on electric vehicle car pricing policy, and Ministry of Finance and other three departments issued a document exempt from the new energy vehicle purchase tax. Estimated by experts, at the beginning of next year, NEA will issue a policy regarding the EV infrastructure, and standards of low speed EV approved.

Correspondingly, a lot of local governments like Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Xian, Suzhou etc. have launched relevant policies to popularize and promote electric vehicle. They have released their EV promotion target, electric charging facilities construction plan, EV subsidization criteria, tax preference, plate policy and other relevant preferential policies. Series of policies which will facilitate the development of NEV has been intensively introduced, greatly strength the confidence and determination of develop NEV, promote the development of NEV industry. As a national focused strategic emerging industry, the NEV bursting out of the endless energy.

In past four years, Polaris has previously organized four successful forums on the New Energy Vehicles. These events registered an overwhelming response & participation from the Industry, Academia and Research organizations alike. An active participation in terms of experts Speakers and delegates was received from Development Research Center of the State Council, National Development and Reform Commission, World Electric Vehicle Association & Academician, IAHE and WADE, Chinese Academy of Engineering, SAE International, Efficient and New Energy Vehicles Project of 863 Program, Shanghai Jiao Tong University , Tsinghua University, China Southern Power Grid , State Grid, Potevio New Energy, and industry experts from OEM’s like BMW Group, Volkswagen, Chery Automobile, AUDI, BYD, SAIC Group, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Honda, Toyota, Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd, etc. actively participated in our series events.

In order to continue its endeavor towards further creating awareness on the new energy vehicles and learning from global developments in the said field, Polaris is organizing its 5th industry forum on New Energy Vehicles.

This 5th forum is a striving effort by Polaris to build a platform for discussion and communication for the industry and with a hope that the new ideas and new proposals put up by the experts from the OEMs, State Grid, Power Companies, Cell Manufactures, Key Part Suppliers and Key Technologies Provider Globally, could be summarized as new measures for the development of New Energy Vehicles.
