Effective on 15 June, Henkel Singapore has switched to utilising 100 per cent solar energy from Sunseap Energy, the leading clean energy solutions provider in Singapore. With its regional office and Global Supply Chain Hub in Singapore onboard the renewable energy plan, Henkel Singapore expects to save around 102 tons of CO2 emissions annually, which is roughly equivalent to the carbon emission of 45 round-trip plane rides from Singapore to Shanghai.
The initiative is among many sustainable actions which Henkel and its employees have pledged to implement this year in support of Singapore’s Year of Climate Action.
