CSE delivers successful sustainability roundtable in Dubai

Being at its basic scope to keep up with groundbreaking actions in order to deliver correct and substantial information on new Corporate and Social Responsibility global trends, CSE conducted with great success on March 23rd, in Dubai, a Roundtable for Sustainability Professionals posing a critical question: How can we measure the social impact of CSR strategies?”

This is an issue that concerns nowadays a vast majority of corporations that wish to plan strategies and suggest solutions, which truly cater for society’s needs, giving thus added value not only to the society but also to the corporation themselves.

The roundtable placed great emphasis upon the challenges, which corporations confront in regards to the investments in CSR actions and programs as well as upon the use of tools and international strategies like SROI (Social Return on Investment) which can form the framework that measures society coherent value.

Guest speakers were: Ms. Lina Hourani, Director of CSR of Al Ahli Holding Group; Ms. Humaida Al Khalsan, Snr. Corporate Sustainability and Communications Projects Manager of du; and Ibrahim Al Zubi, Head of Sustainability of Majid Al Futtaim, who shared their presentations about their own corporate best practices, promoted and reinforced the principles of corporate and social responsibility with us and some of the Gulf’s most devoted sustainability professionals.
