ComfortDelGro unveils CDG Energy, expanding beyond EV charging into integrated energy management

Singapore, 12 August 2026 – ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited (SGX: C52) (“ComfortDelGro”, “the Group”) today unveiled CDG Energy, the new identity of its energy management business following the acquisition of the remaining stake in its former joint venture, ComfortDelGro ENGIE (CDG ENGIE).

The new brand marks the next phase of growth for the business as it expands beyond Electric Vehicle (EV) charging into broader fleet electrification solutions and smart energy management services.

Formerly known as CDG ENGIE, the business has played an important role in supporting EV adoption in Singapore through the development of one of the country’s leading EV charging networks across residential, commercial, public, and fleet environments. Today, its charging network comprises 2,600 charging points across 800 locations in Singapore and Malaysia, with further expansion underway as EV adoption accelerates across the region. This established platform provides a strong base for the business’ next phase of growth.

As mobility and energy become increasingly interconnected, CDG Energy is broadening its focus beyond charging infrastructure to support customers’ evolving electrification and energy management needs. The business is expanding its capabilities across fleet electrification and smart energy management. Through these solutions, CDG Energy aims to help customers optimise energy use, improve operational efficiency, and advance their decarbonisation goals.

Mr Yeo Woo Yee, General Manager of CDG Energy, said: “The launch of CDG Energy reflects how our business has evolved and where we are headed. While EV charging remains a core part of our business, our customers increasingly require integrated solutions that support fleet electrification, energy optimisation and infrastructure planning. Building on the strong foundation we have established, we are expanding our offerings to help customers navigate the energy transition more effectively in the long run.”

Mr Cheng Siak Kian, Managing Director / Group CEO of ComfortDelGro, said: “As mobility and energy become increasingly interconnected through vehicle electrification, CDG Energy represents a natural extension of ComfortDelGro’s broader mobility ecosystem. We are well positioned to capture opportunities arising from this convergence while strengthening our ability to deliver integrated solutions that support the transition towards cleaner and smarter mobility.”

A new identity built around continuous energy

The new logo was designed around the concept of continuous energy.

  • The “C” ring reflects CDG Energy’s heritage within ComfortDelGro, while its open form symbolises openness to new ideas, partnerships and opportunities.
  • The orbiting dot, inspired by an electron, represents energy in motion and the connection of people, ideas and innovation.
  • Together, the “C” ring and orbiting dot form a continuous loop, symbolising reliability, momentum and the constant flow of energy.

While the company will operate under a new identity, customers and partners will continue to receive the same trusted services and support they rely. All digital and physical assets will reflect the new brand identity by the end of August 2026.
