**Join Us to Build Resilience for Communities and Cities**
The USAID Private Financing Advisory Network-Asia (USAID PFAN-Asia) is launching a call for proposal for Smart Solutions for Adaptable Communities and Cities. These solutions could be anything from apps on clean transport to pilot projects on climate-adaptable housing/buildings, water management, and waste-management.
Selected project developers, technology providers, innovators, and inventors will receive mentoring support from USAID PFAN-Asia with an aim to secure funding for upscaling their operations.
Project developers, technology providers, innovators, and inventors should be from the private sector, or be proposed as a public private partnerships, with a planned project in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Thailand, or Vietnam, and should be actively seeking capital upto $50 million size range.
Technical Focus: water management, climate-adaptable buildings/housing; climate-adaptable and clean transport; waste management.
Award for Selected Projects:
Selected projects will receive the following support from USAID PFAN-Asia:
·A session of group mentoring.
·Free one-on-one coaching for a total of 10 man-days to develop the business plan.
·Introduction to equity investors and/or debt providers and assistance to negotiate terms of investment/lending.
·Technical assistance (i.e. legal opinion, review of feasibility study and others).
