5th Asia-Pacific Housing Forum

The Asia-Pacific Housing Forum is a biennial conference organized by Habitat for Humanity, gathering under one roof leaders and experts engaged in seeking solutions to low-income housing issues that make economic and business sense.

Since its inception in 2007, the Housing Forum has brought together more than 2,000 people from 52 countries. In 2015, under the theme of ‘Building Impact’, the four-day Housing Forum plays a key role in the run up to major regional and global initiatives – adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals and the Asia-Pacific Urban Forum. Habitat for Humanity will also gather ideas and best practices in affordable and sustainable housing at the event. These will be shared with development and policy experts at the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development, Habitat III, in Ecuador in October 2016.
