Ricoh Asia Pacific is presenting to you the Eco Action Day 2019 outcome report, incorporating the summary pointers of the ‘Sustainable Waste Management in the Year Towards Zero Waste - Eco Action Day Roundtable’ held on 30th May 2019.
The roundtable brought together more than 60 government, senior business and academic leaders to address topics on sustainable waste management and recycling via a circular economy and discuss potential solutions and actions to advance Goal 13 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) – Climate Action.
The roundtable highlighted five themes namely; The Role of Manufacturers, Social Behaviour, Effective Policymaking, Designing for a Circular Economy and Business Models & Innovation.
