The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Singapore released its PACT (Plastic Action) Impact Report, detailing the achievements of PACT.
It showcases statistics and responses of PACT member companies, their ideas to reduce plastics use, and the challenges faced within their industry. Local companies have saved 12 million pieces of plastic packaging and items collectively, reducing their use of plastics and towards a circular economy. The Impact Report also covers the various sectoral collaborations formed as a result of PACT, such as the Retail Bag Charge, Food Delivery Commitment and No Straws Pledge.
Started by WWF-SG, PACT is a business initiative that aims to eliminate plastic pollution in nature and move towards a circular economy on plastics. PACT provides businesses with guidance and resources to reduce their plastic footprint.
