The Opening Plenary of theWorld Ocean Council (WOC) Sustainable Ocean Summit (SOS), Rotterdam, 30 Nov-2 Dec 2016, will include:

·Vladimir Ryabinin, Executive Secretary, UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC)
·Joao Aguiar Machado, Director General, DG MARE, European Commission
