METRO MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines successfully concluded the 2025 edition of Le French Gala on November 27, 2025, at Shangri-La The Fort, Taguig City. Leaders from the business, diplomatic, and cultural communities gathered for an evening that celebrated a decade of shared commitment to climate action, sustainability, and Franco-Philippine friendship.
Marking ten years since the 2015 Manila Call to Action on Climate Change, this year’s gala placed a strong emphasis on environmental responsibility, ocean protection, and collective action. The event brought together distinguished guests from the public and private sectors, who joined in reaffirming the importance of long-term collaboration toward a greener and more sustainable future.
The gala opened with a warm welcome from CCIFP President Jacques Christophe Branellec, followed by a speech from Her Excellency Marie Fontanel, French Ambassador to the Philippines and Micronesia. The night was also full of elegant artistic performances that celebrated French-Filipino cultural ties and the shared commitment of both nations to climate action. Guests enjoyed an evening of exceptional French gastronomy, premium wines and spirits, and meaningful exchange among business and diplomatic leaders.
A highlight of the evening was the awarding of Le Trophée Bleu: Business Sustainability Awards, now in its fourth year in partnership with HAVAS Ortega. The awards recognised organisations demonstrating excellence and leadership across the six pillars of sustainable development.
