One of the headline outcomes to emerge from COP30 was a new target to “at least triple” finance for climate adaptation in developing countries by 2035.
The country is targeting a balanced mix of nuclear and renewables as it develops new policies to support a transition in industrial manufacturing, said environment minister Kim Sung-hwan. He joined growing calls at COP30 for the transition away from fossil fuels.
