The Conscious Festival by Green Is The New Black (GITNB) is back for its fourth year in Singapore this November. Held over two days at PARKROYAL on Pickering, GITNB will continue to bring together the best of conscious brands, speakers and social entrepreneurs in a curated platform; from the free Mindful Marketplace to the ticketed talks (by DBS).
Join the Mindful Marketplace (free entry) where visitors of all ages can enjoy shopping ethical local brands, eating consciously and viewing art installations themed around plastic waste. Transformational TALKS Powered by DBS are ticketed and will feature local and international speakers discussing how to Live (Breaking Limits, Breaking Free), Work (Purpose, Sustainability, Innovation), Consume (Going Zero) and Travel (The Unexplored) more mindfully and sustainably.
A new addition to this year’s festival is activism through art. Visitors can look forward to an immersive virtual reality experience, where they can better understand the importance of reducing waste. Students from local universities have also collaborated to create interactive exhibitions, such as upcycled hats and plastic walls and corridors.
For the first time, the festival will be both carbon neutral and zero waste, utilising food composting, banning single use plastics and disposables.
The festival welcomes professionals, students, individuals, families and little ones.
