Trichoderma fungi offer a range of biological control options for agriculture, horticulture and forestry. The theme of the 12th International Trichoderma and Gliocladium Workshop, to be held from the 27th to the 30th of August 2012 at the Bio-Protection Research Centre, Lincoln University, Christchurch, New Zealand is Innovations and Applications. Presentations will cover current research in a range of disciplines including Biotechnology, Omics (including taxonomics), Fungal Communication and Biocontrol, and will highlight future directions for Trichoderma applications in agriculture and industry. There will be a prize for ‘Best Presentation by an Emerging Researcher’.
Keynote speakers include international leaders in their respective fields and the event promises to bring together a number of fundamental and applied researchers.
