LEARNING OBJECTIVES

(i) Understand the ISO 9001:2008 standard - the foundational course for ISO 14001 and ISO 50001

(ii) Understand key quality issues

(iii) Plan an audit against a set of audit criteria

(iv) Successfully execute a quality management systems audit

(v) Create clear, concise and relevant audit reports

(vi) Communicate your report to a client

PRE-REQUISITES

(i) Completion of secondary education. An understanding of report writing is desirable. A prior knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001 would be beneficial.

(ii) Familiarity with the structure and requirements of ISO 9001: 2008 and internal auditing would be useful, but not essential, as this course is designed as a basic introduction to the subject.
