GRI Standards Training are now newly available in Singapore to help companies with Sustainability Reporting.
Sustainability reporting will be made mandatory on a comply-or-explain basis for all listed companies in Singapore from this year, and Corporate Citizenship is committed to helping companies get up to speed on reporting and GRI. Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is the leading global framework used by companies to report on sustainability, and is aligned with SGX’s latest reporting guidelines.

About the training
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)’s guidelines are the world’s most widely used sustainability reporting disclosures. This GRI-certified training is based on the latest GRI Standards, which were released in late 2016.
This training course will be delivered through a two-day intensive workshop in Singapore. The focus of the GRI Standards is Materiality – reporting on the most relevant impacts to the organisation and its stakeholders. By identifying and reporting on their most significant impacts, companies can produce more strategic, focused, credible and user-friendly reports.
On top of the 16 hours of training, Corporate Citizenship is offering an exclusive half-day Global Best Practice workshop for all participants at the end of the year. This training course is conducted by the National Centre for Sustainability Reporting (NCSR), based in Jakarta, in partnership with Corporate Citizenship.
Who should attend this training?
This training course is suitable for organisations which are both new to sustainability reporting, and those which are seasoned at reporting and wish to understand the latest GRI Standards. The course is also not restricted to reporting professionals; representatives from other business disciplines and areas such as professionals managing CSR, communications, strategy, human resources, environment health and safety (EHS) and marketing will all benefit from the outcomes and learnings which this course will bring.
Will I receive a certificate after I attend this training?
Yes, upon successful completion of the training, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance from GRI, as well as from NCSR. You will also be eligible to attend the GRI G4 or Standards Exam. Candidates who undertake this exam and pass will be certified as sustainability reporting specialists.
