He moved to Channel NewsAsia at MediaCorp Singapore in 2010 where he held the position of business desk editor and news presenter. About Faizah Jamal

Faizah Jamal is currently an Adjunct Lecturer at Republic Polytechnic pioneering the Environment Education module since 2008 , where she not only supports aspiring young outdoor educators to be eco-literate; more importantly, she also encourages them through deep reflection, to value the intangible lessons from Nature in leading meaningful lives.

She is also a pioneer in the healing modality of Breathwork in Singapore, being one of the first to be certified, and one of a very small group of people here offering this technique, which allows for powerful life transformation through what she calls, the “Power of the Breath” and the “Power of Thought”.

In her ‘previous life’, Faizah was a corporate lawyer specialising in Intellectual Property law with top Singapore law firms Drew and Napier , and Haq and Selvam before giving it up in 2003 because “Law is what I did, Breathwork is who I am.”

Now Faizah makes use of her legal questioning skills in combining her love for Nature, the ancient wisdom she has learnt from her 25 years of travelling in the Malaysian forests with the Orang Asli, as well as her holistic work, in conducting Ecopsychology Workshops through a combination of guided nature walks, and holistic therapy where she supports people through their life challenges in moving away from a ‘victim mentality of blame and fear’ to a sustainable one of ‘taking personal responsibility’.

Her guiding mantra can be captured in a road sign she saw two years ago while travelling along a busy London highway ‘You are not stuck in traffic, you ARE traffic’ !
