This two-week programme offers an opportunity to influence the evolving interface between business and policy around one of the most intractable environmental problems - Plastics. Some 8 million tons of plastic enters the world’s oceans each year killing marine life and choking sea lanes on a scale not been seen before . China alone contributes 3.5 million tons of this waste. The pollution linked to plastic has become so acute that the Government of China has deemed bio-plastics industry critical to countering this problem.
Participants will produce original ideas to support the success of our business project partner, Ecoplast, China’s largest starch-based bio-plastics manufacturer.
They will also learn, analyse and make policy recommendations aligned with the Chinese government’s priority to inject more renewable material into the plastics value chain.
The insights, self-reflection and leadership development the programme offers makes it like no other. There are only a few seats remaining and we hope you or your colleagues will join us!
