Fed Up: Green Drinks November Film Screening

The movie that will change the way you look at food forever.

At Green Initiatives’ 56th documentary film screening of Fed Up, we will take a closer look at the connection between the foods we eat, what we feed our children, and our health. What is the cost of eating a diet comprised primarily of processed, sugary foods, how many of the foods we eat contain added sugars, and how did society get to a place where we were forced to question so much of what we eat?

Film screening will be followed by a short discussion.

Synopsis:
Everything we’ve been told about food and exercise for the past 30 years is dead wrong. FED UP is the film the food industry doesn’t want you to see. From Katie Couric, Laurie David (Oscar winning producer of AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH) and director Stephanie Soechtig, FED UP will change the way you eat forever. The film opens in theaters across the country on May 9th.

Note: There will be an entrance fee of ¥50, which includes wine, soft drinks, fruits and snacks. Limited seats, please register in advance.
