UP Singapore is excited to announce the third Clean & Green Hackathon in partnership with the National Environment Agency (NEA) from 14 to 16 November!
The themes for this hackathon are minimising food and plastic waste at home, and improving our hawker centres.
The issue of waste is perhaps a consequence of the overall growth of our economy. However, there is a lot we can do as individuals to reduce the amount of food and plastic waste we produce as a nation. Using technology as an enabler, identify methods of creating awareness and drive behavioural change.
Share your expertise at the hackathon to build solutions that empower fellow Singaporeans to minimise waste for a sustainable future!
Our hackathons are typically weekend events that bring together a diverse grop of passionate citizens - consisting of developers, designers, data experts, researchers, marketers and business people, etc. - to work form teams and work on challenges. Teams then get a chance to showcase their prototypes to a panel of judges at the end of the weekend.
