Yajie's interest in environmental issues was motivated by a geography lesson in junior college on natural disasters. She is guided by the principle that the numbers we see on the news every day are not mere statistics – they represent real communities and livelihoods.
Currently, she is pursuing a double major in Environmental Science and Public Policy at the Asian School of the Environment at Nanyang Technological University. Her hobbies include reading, photography, and daydreaming.
