Discussion Topics to Include Key Developments in Transmission and Distribution within Malaysia
The new CEO of Malaysia’s largest utility provider has been confirmed as a keynote speaker for this year’s Transmission & Distribution/ Smart Grids Asia to be held in Kuala Lumpur in September.
Dato Azman Mohd, the newly instated CEO and President of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Malaysia, will deliver his first keynote address at this year’s event.
The conference, which brings together Asian utilities, regulators and ministries as well as service providers to discuss the latest transmission, distribution and smart grid developments in the region, will be held in Kuala Lumpur from 18-19 September. This will be the 7th edition of the conference.
“As one of the region’s pre-eminent utility events, we are proud to welcome Dato Azman Mohd, the new CEO of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), the host utility for this year’s event,” said Marcus Magee, Programme Manager for Transmission and Distribution / Smart Grids Asia 2012, part of the Clarion Events’ stable of conferences and exhibitions.
Dato Azman Mohd will be speaking on the subject of ‘Key developments in transmission and distribution within Malaysia’. “Within Asia, Malaysia is starting to take the lead in Smart Grid investments and developments and we look forward to hearing TNB’s CEO and President share their experiences as a market leader,” said Mr. Magee.
