Module 3 – Introduction to Carbon Accounting

Gain a practical understanding of greenhouse gas accounting, including:

• Scope 2 emissions
• Introduction to Scope 3 emissions
• ISO 14064 and the fundamentals of GHG assurance
• Common organisational emission sources
• Best practices for collecting emissions data

Interactive Carbon Accounting Exercise

Learn by doing.

Using a real business case study, participants will classify and calculate greenhouse gas emissions from activities such as:

• Office electricity consumption
• Business travel
• Employee commuting
• Fuel consumption
• Waste generation

By the end of this exercise, you’ll understand the fundamentals of organisational carbon footprinting and the methodology used by ESG professionals.

Sustainability Report Review Exercise

Step into the role of an ESG consultant.

Working with real sustainability reports published by leading organisations, participants will identify:

Pratiksha More is an ESG and sustainability consultant with over six years of experience helping organisations develop practical sustainability strategies, ESG reporting programmes, and greenhouse gas inventories. She has worked with organisations across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, supporting projects in ESG reporting, GHG accounting, EcoVadis assessments, climate risk, and sustainability strategy.

As the Founder of Sustainability 101, she has trained hundreds of professionals through workshops, corporate training programmes, and consulting engagements, with a mission to make sustainability practical, accessible, and business-focused.
