Course Overview:
Businesses often do not understand how much they reply on biodiversity or how they impact on biodiversity. Yet in a world where we are losing species faster than ever before biodiversity and conservation are becoming important challenges and there is a role that the private sector can and should play. The course will examine the importance of biodiversity to businesses. It will discuss the need for biodiversity policies and strategies in business. A role for business in protecting and restoring eco-systems will be discussed. This practical course will provide businesses with ideas for engaging with biodiversity and discuss how you can enhance brand and reputation through targeted and aligned conservation and biodiversity initiatives, drawing on case examples.
Time: 2:30pm - 4:30pm (Time Zone: GMT +8)

- Why is biodiversity important to business?
- What are the risks and opportunities associated with biodiversity for my business?
- How can a business develop a meaningful biodiversity strategy?
- Can we link biodiversity to innovative CSR programmes that involve staff?
Special note: The real time online training allows participants to access the training audio using either Voice over IP (VoIP) or toll-based phone numbers.
