Leaders or Laggards? Corporate leadership in low-carbon post-pandemic recovery [Virtual]

The British Embassy Manila in partnership with Eco-Business will host a high-level virtual event that seeks to constructively engage with corporate and policy leaders in the Philippines towards decarbonising economic activity in post-pandemic recovery scenarios.

Taking place on 27 January 2021 at 4:00 PM Manila Time, the event titled Leaders or Laggards? Corporate leadership in low-carbon post-pandemic recovery hopes to highlight the need for businesses to pivot existing models towards low-carbon emission by shifting to cleaner energy and increasing energy efficiency in their operations.

Doing so not only makes long-term business sense, it will also support sustainable recovery pathways and help restore ecological balance for the planet, thus, helping to stem the impacts of a crisis more severe than the pandemic: Climate change.

The event will also highlight Race to Zero, the world’s largest coalition committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

This by-invitation only event welcomes interested participants from business, policy, civil society, and academia to join the conversation. Please write to:
