2012 Wind Farm O&M Conference
For Better Efficiency
5-6 Oct. 2012
Beijing, China
Organized by ATKEPP
Supported by
Wind Energy Equipment Magazine
Wind Power Equipment and Materials Network
Asociación Argentina de Energía Eólica
Purpose
The purpose of the forum is to share the challenges and solutions to wind farm O&M.
Background
As wind turbines pass the warranty period, wind farm O&M becomes increasingly important. The global market for wind power O&M was USD4.2 billion in 2010 and will reach USD11.8 billion by 2016 with CAGR of 19%. By 2016, China will be the largest wind farm O&M market in the world. The major challenges for Chinese wind farms are: traffic accidents; electric shock; firing; collapse of wind turbines; and power forecast. How to optimize O&M to achieve better efficiency at wind farms is becoming a major challenge facing wind farm owners and operators. To promote international communication about experiences and expertise in wind farm O&M, ATKEPP, an international consulting firm with wind as one of its focused areas, will organize the 2012 Wind Farm O&M Conference (WFOM2012) in Beijing, China on 5-6 Oct., 2012.
Features
The events organized by ATKEPP have always been featured by practicality and sharing. On WFOM2012, we will invite field engineers with first-hand experience from wind farms to present their experience and challenges and ask O&M service and equipment providers to show their solutions.
