Thontowi (Towi) is a Wahana Riset Indonesia Researcher for sustainable commodities project. He helps One Map Initiative Teams in conducting research about sustainable commodities in relation with conflict transformation.

Prior to joining WRI, Towi worked as a research assistant in University of Queensland Business School and Center of Economics and Public Policy Study, UGM. He has involved in various research from sustainable peatland management in Central Borneo to open innovation of oil and gas industry in Australia.

Towi completed his master study on business sustainability in The University of Queensland, Australia. Prior to this, he spent a year as a teacher in a Bajau village, North Mollucas. Towi loves travelling, scuba-diving, and watching movie.
