Ruba Nackeeran

Ruba is EB’s Partnerships Manager who’s looking into the Malaysian and Indonesian market. She comes with a background in law, journalism, and I.T. Her journey into environmental and sustainability started in 2008 when she was interning for the legal team that worked on the Bakun Dam and its effects on the indigenous people. She is also a trained member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps and an Exco member of Free Tree Society, an NGO that focuses on environmental stewardship and awareness through planting. In her free time, Ruba enjoys whipping up vegetarian meals for her loved ones, figuring out how to row without tipping the boat over, and having monologues with her dog.
