Lina Sagaral Reyes has at least three decades of experience in reportage, communication research, and documentation. She writes on the junctures of gender, development, environment, culture, and health.
She has received recognition for her reportage, including four grand prizes at the Globe Media Excellence Awards in 2016, 2017 & 2019.
She is a special correspondent of the Cagayan de Oro-based Mindanao Gold Star Daily.
