Frank M. Mitloehner

Professor of Animal Science and Air Quality Extension Specialist

Frank Mitloehner is a professor of Animal Science and Air Quality Specialist at the University of California, Davis. He recently chaired a Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations committee to measure and assess the environmental impact of the livestock industry. His research has focused on air quality, environmental physiology and ethology. Currently, he is investigating air quality in livestock production with the main objective of helping to establish environmentally benign livestock systems.
