HVAC&R sectors came together at ISK-SODEX 2012 from May 2-5 at Istanbul Expo Center.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was opened by Zafer Çağlayan, The Minister of Economy of the Turkish Republic.
International Heating. Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Insulation, Pumps, Valves, Installation, Water Treatment and Solar Systems Exhibition (ISK-SODEX 2012), was organized on May 2-5 at Istanbul Expo Center. The exhibition was expected to have 80 thousand visitors, both foreign and local.
ISK-SODEX 2012 was organized in 11 halls and approximately 55 thousand sqm area. The exhibition was the 3rd biggest exhibition in air-conditioning, heating, installation and refrigeration sector in the world, and also the biggest exhibition in Turkey in all sectors.
Attended by over 1300 companies, ISK-SODEX facilitated important business connections with the foreign buyer delegation programme.
The Biggest Meeting of National and International Companies in Eurasia Region
ISK-SODEX 2012 Exhibition, which is organized biannially, is the most important business and marketing platform in the Eurasia Region for Turkish companies which want to have relationships with abroad and improve international cooperation, and for international companies which want to be effective in Eurasia.
Murat Demirtaş who is the Vice President and General Manager of Hannover-Messe Sodeks Fuarcılık indicated that the demand of heating, refrigeration and ventilation sectors are increasing. He also added “Turkish air-conditioning sector has an important position in the world. Exports have increased 7 times in last nine years. The exportation of the sector has increased 4.5 billion dollars in 2011 from 630 million dollars in 2002. This is quite a success.” Mr. Demirtaş also indicated that the sector aimed to reach a total volume of 60 billion dollars in the 100th year of the Turkish Republic, with 25 billion dollars of exports and 35 billion dollars of domestic market turnover.
