The National Environment Agency (NEA) is inviting applications for the Energy Efficiency National Partnership (EENP) Awards 2016. Into its sixth year, the EENP Awards is NEA’s flagship event which seeks to encourage a culture of sustained energy efficiency improvement industry-wide.
The industrial sector is the largest energy consumer in Singapore with significant potential for energy savings and cost reduction, which can be achieved through energy management.
The Awards which is jointly organised by NEA, the Energy Market Authority (EMA) and the Economic Development Board (EDB), recognises companies that have demonstrated excellence in the areas of energy management, corporate teams that have implemented energy efficiency projects that have led to substantial improvements in energy performance, and outstanding energy managers who have demonstrated strong leadership in driving energy efficiency improvements within their organisation.
Application for the EENP Awards is open to EENP Partners (for their local facilities). The organisers of the Awards are looking for corporations with outstanding and innovative projects in the following three categories: Excellence in Energy Management, Best Practices and Outstanding Energy Manager of the Year.
Public sector agencies/organisations and schools are also eligible to apply and will have a separate commendation category for best energy efficiency practices in large buildings and schools. The winners will be unveiled on 4 October 2016, during the EENP Awards 2016 ceremony.
