Helios PV (Asia Pacific) has kicked off construction of 5 new photovoltaic generators in Singapore among various industrial estates, planning a phased turn on of new generators comprising more than 3.3 MWp of capacity through 2016 and into early 2017.
The company is developing new installations with local logistic REITs, having ideal rooftops for solar installations, which will benefit by supplying clean energy to end users in Singapore through the SolarSpaceTM platform.
Helios PV (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd installed the first 187kWp solar system with Sun Electric in collaboration with CW Group Holdings in 2015. The SolarSpaceTM platform won Sun Electric, the developer of the platform, a coveted position of “World’s Most Innovative Energy Companies of 2016” as ranked by Fast Company.
Helios PV (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd has been in continuous collaboration with Sun Electric to install additional solar systems in Singapore as well as with building owners in the city-state with interest in the program.
Helios PV plans to expand installation of more solar systems under the SolarSpaceTM platform in the future, and is working with various building owners to benefit from the program which sees landlords compensated by providing clean energy to Singaporean electricity consumers.
